The emPower festival is more than just a celebration for our planet -

there are competitions as well!!! 

Take a look at what competitions you can enter below. Please register
before June 1st by using the form on the contact page.

If you have any queries please be sure to email us before June 21st.

        ●         Primary School Student competitionwrite a 2-3 minute Speech to a Government Body on what you want our Local, State or Federal government to do about global warming and/or a sustainable future. Entrants may be if they would like to read their speech at the event.

        
Secondary School Student competitionwrite an essay of 400 to 800 words which can include up to three illustrations titled “My Visions of a Sustainable Future”.

        
Students of all ages - create a visual art piece (preferably 2D of either A3 or A2 size) with a short description (up to 100 words) titled “My Visions of a Sustainable Future”.

        
Singer/Songwriters of any age - write and perform a song about global warming and/or your vision of a sustainable future. Entrants need to be available to perform their song on 7th or 8th July. Entries supplying the text of the song or a CD are preferred.

Entries must be received by June 21st. If you would like your entry returned
please pick it up after 4pm on Thursday 12th July from the TANKS.
