Renewable Energies create more jobs per dollar:

Every second windmill and every third solar panel is produced in Germany.
The German green technology industry is already employing about one million people, more than either the car or the steel industry. By 2020 the turnover of German solar and wind industry is also expected to surpass both the huge German steel and car industries.

Australia is well positioned to play a leading role in this fast growing market. We have leading edge science and abundant solar and wind resources, but our current government fails to see these opportunities and subsidises coal and oil to the tune of 5-10 billion dollars every year.

Shifting these huge subsidies to renewable energies will create tens of thousands of new jobs! B1b_v1
